Discover America Nordic is a non-profit umbrella organization operating as a facilitator, coordinator and organizer for USA members as well as Nordic Members. The national committees will remain, overseen by a Nordic Executive Board working voluntarily to promote tourism from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland to the US.
 With members from the local boards on the steering committee, Discover America Nordic is working to increase the awareness of the Nordic Countries as an entity to the American T&T Industry, by a Nordic database/web-site as one stop shopping for industry details, trade information, market update, travel fairs and events, statistics, news, program development, press and media. All activities and marketing are entirely funded by member fees.
Established in October 2006, but already one of the largest and most active committees, presently with 64 different US and Scandinavian companies and Tourism offices as members.
